Eragon Empty
PostSubject: Eragon   Eragon EmptySat 3 Feb - 17:40

I thought Eragon would be a solid movie despite the main actor being an unknown in the business, but honestly, I was deceived by the whole story... There was nothing original from the begining to the end, from pictures to dialogues, every member of my family could predict what a character would say and when! Suspect

One point in favor of Eragon : the dragon. Well drawn and designed, fluid movements, etc. Its shape reminded me a lot of the dragon in "Dragon Heart", but with less spikes Razz

About the 'hero' Eragon... well, I have to admit that in most stories of the genre, the hero always starts as a naive peasant, but Eragon was by far the most stupid and immature of all. Unfortunately, his intelligence doesn't seem to improve by the end of the movie.

"Eragon" could and should have been better than this pale attempt at reviving the dragon fantasy-heroic genre. Let's hope the sequel will be made of stronger stuff and more convincing actors.
En attendant, croisons les doigts.Sleep

Really that bad? but we must feel lucky about the 'hero''s actor, we wouldn't have liked to have a super famous actor being ridiculised only due to that stupid role of Eragon, right?
I haven't seen the film yet, and I hope I would not sleep when watching that film~!

You can sleep during the movie if you can't help it, I guarantee that you won't be missing much! lol!

Na, watch it Diddles, it's always worth a good laugh and you'll be able to swear and criticise the film without your victims being able to get back at you! Hahaha~

@ Uri - I highly doubt that you would be able to fall asleep... You'd probably be laughing your head off at how ridiculous the movie is! Smile

I personnaly think that this film is rubbish. Its like putting the whloe Lord of the Rings films( bestfilm ever watched and Ealga, this movie is full of blood) and the Harry Potter series(totally rubbish films although the books are good).
The result: A stupid film with a good trailer( make no sense, i know)

hmm...although this is called "coze cake", it does make sense! Believe me, a great "cozeur kk" is telling you so. Rolling Eyes
I think it would be a while before any heroic/fantasy movie beats Lord of the Rings.
And, yeah, the Potter books are great...can't say the same for the movies though. Very Happy

However, there were some great actors in the movie; Jeremie Iron and John Malkovich. Wonder how they got stranded in there... scratch

Considering that the movie was supposed to attract flocks of youngsters who don't even have the slightest ideas of who these old actors are, there is little point for them to be there to hold up audience Sleep

En fait, les roles attribués à ces vieux acteurs dans Eragon sont dégradants! Ils auraient pu ridiculiser et gâcher la réputation d'autres inconnus (qui n'auraient pas souffert autant)Exclamation

He is already known as Harry Potter. Watch closely, in magazines and news headlines, they say "Potter boy" or "Harry Potter". Seldom do you see the name 'Daniel'.. Poor guy, he'll disappear along with the end of the Harry Potter saga. *amen*

by the way, why are we talking about Harry Potter...??? Eragon here...Maybe we should start a thread on our next victim... Potter, here we come! Beware! Lasciate ogne speranza!

Ooops~ Sorry guys...
Translation: Abandon all hope! lol!
I often use this, especially when talking nonsense and simulating war and battles...
It's a bit like when the Spanish mercenaries used to yell "Aragon! Aragon!" before engaging in battle...
