| So I guess I most people know ( or for those that didn't know) that the Premier League Season is starting on the 11th of August. So what you guys' views and forecasts? Will Man Utd defend its title? What are Chealsea, Liverpool and Arsenal going to do? | |

| I'm very impatient. Weekends are so boring without football matches Manchester Utd has a solid team, easily the most balanced one regarding experience, youth and technique. However Liverpool has made a strong recruiting move (Fernando Torres for instance) and can pose a problem. I say that the title race will be more Liverpool vs ManU then Chelsea vs ManU like last season. oh and there's Chelsea. It's billions won't save it this time. They might win 2 cups, but not the Premierleague. As for Arsenal...Well...Wenger has his own reasons for not getting experienced players during the break, but I think that his policy might put a lot of strain on his young squad. The only 'ancients' left being Gilberto, Lehman, Toure and the new 'old' Gallas. Arsenal lacks experience, but they compensate this with a lot of technique. | |

| Manchester United is surely well prepared for this New Premier League Season with a perfectly organised offence and a super mid-field formation with Ronaldo in it~~ Manchester is certainly aiming higher this time...but still, a small problem in their defence! | |

| But I think the small problem in defense is largely, in fact overly compensated by a crush-the-ennemy-none-shall-survive attack force! With Ronaldo, Rooney, a solid midfield and with Tevez pending, they'll drill the opponent's net with goals. | |

| Oh nataku but defence is what has been drowning Man Utd for so many seasons! They've got Rio Ferdinand but when he's not there the team is seriously crippled! I remember the time when Ferdinand was injured at the end of the last season and manchester was playing against a club(whose name I don't remember) and they were in such a bad situation you might have thought they were some 3rd or 5th division team! Although I do agree with you that their attack is very good when they play as a whole team! Then again, I think the whole liverpool vs Man utd is going to be more prominent as you said. Chealsea... hmm.... I must say they are going through a self-analysis-post-losing situation. They will be fierce competitors only if they gain back their tactics. Buying top players isn't going to change anything. Just see Shevsehnko and Ballack who haven't done to their best yet. | |

| Hmm...hmmm...Looks like ManU's problem is not only defense this season. Heheheh 2 consecutive ties and as I'm typing this, they're being oppressed by a nice Manchester City side and losing 1-0. Pfffff...all that mediatised Tevez transfer and the guy looks like he's playing football for the first time in his life. | |

| Who watched Man Utd's yesterday match? Oh dear, it was like watching kids play a football match! Apart from Paul Scholes and Evra( who did quite well I have to admit), all the others were just bouncing the ball as if for the first time. I'm a huge Man U fan,and seriously, I'm very disappointed with Tevez although I agree with you, Ecarlate, that at least Nani is making some efforts. Thank heavens, Ronaldo is coming back for the next match. Do you think that will change improve Man U's attack ? Because, they seriously need a striker... | |

| With Ronaldo back, ManU should look less ridiculous on the field. Nani is ok too. But if the rest of the team continue playing like wood automatons there's no way ManU's going to win the league Heheh Liverpool beat Derby 6-0. That's cruel. Didn't watch the match but I heard the Reds were real classy against Derby. (that's also called bullying ) | |

| 6-0! Wow! Now THAT is incredible. Nataku, I really hope you're right for Ronaldo.. otherwise I see a very feeble future for Man U:pale: Did anyone watch the Chelsea match against Aston Villa? I watched only the last 15 minutes and it was a fantastic game. Aston Villa needs to be praised for standing up(effectively) against Chelsea. I think that for this season, these supposedly 'weaker and smaller' teams need to be followed. We might get some surprises this time;) | |

| Well, Chelsea isn't playing that well at the moment, especially against Villa. During the last 30 minutes, Drogba returned to his favorite tactic : falling at the slightest contact with the opponent... really pathetic, and to think the guy is a hero in his country! Tsssk, obviously they never saw him play (did I say play? I meant dive and slide on the grass) in the league. | |

| hey...i'm right with nataku...Drogba is not that good, he has no style of play...he just runs on passes the ball on field...but, he has some qualities too...out of the blue...you can see him scoring. like for the F.A cup...a stupid goal...hmmmm...its was too cruel for man utd... | |
