| yeah, this one is coming up now~~harry potter and the order of the phoenix~~............it would be nice to have another cinema party with the members of CC. so, what are your expectation for this film? how bad/good will it be? it seems quite fine from the extracts i've seen but then again...that's Harry Potter...i mean, the films are normally quite disappointing. i didn't like much any of them, but the trailers always sounded so great. so, what are your expectations? | |

| Very Very low expectations for it....I know I am pessimistic, but really, the actor himself scares me...he's cuter when he was young... | |

| Ah Harry Potter... Sometimes i want to curse him...lol Want to watch the film as idon't read anty of the books like the potter maniac(hope not tagging anyone) But i'm not that entheusiastic, only want to watch for entertainment... The only character that seems to have grown up to be well in the story is Hermione Granger, though girl is said to gain maturity well before the oppposite sex.... | |

| yeah, girls DO mature a lot more than guys and way before them too~~lol. (don't kill me guys~~ ) yeah, i don't expect very much from this one either...i've never very much liked the film. the books are great (as far as the story is concerned...for the style, i definitely prefer old Tolkien~~)...i think i'll be like Blazer on this one...i'm going just for the entertainment. | |

| But apparently the movie is receiving nice reviews from critics... I'm waiting to see the scenes where Dumbledore's Army(DA) is training itself!! and also the scene at the ministry of magic | |

| Ah now may be i'll watch it with pleasure... But still the army will be only equipped with magic stick and flying broom...xD
Nan, the film will be fine, moreover it is that there should more battle and special effects in there, isn't it?

| yeah, but still...i don't think they can do without cutting at least a thousand important scenes...all we have to do is try and see the film without bias from the book...for blazer, that should be easy. he has not read the book...but for us all, fans of the book...ok ok, let's give it a try. oh, and, Nataku and Ealga, i hope to see you guys at the cine plan. it's lousy to have so many members from CC without the admins there...~~ | |

| Personnally I don't trust the movies! All the previous ones were mediocre and lacked lots of elements from the books! Bref, travail baclée quoi... But I liked the 5th one's trailer : it's dark and much better than before. However, I still prefer the books! | |

| yeps...i'll be looking for that soon anyway. and, the movie, as long as you know nothing about the book is good. concerning special effects and all that..it's really not bad. but if you've read the book, the best advice i can give is forget about everything~~ | |

| I tried but I couldn't...really, many important details have been cut off...Arrgh, but the fighting scenes were nice~! I would have liked to see more on Tonks too~ I liked her a lot, but she was quite neglected in that film.. | |

| yes indeed, a lot of parts have been edited or removed such as the prohesy in the ministry of magic. The prophesy gets shattered and it is Dumbledore who tells Harry what it is all about but in the movie, Harry 'hears' it in the departmentitself. What I didn't like was that Grimmauld place and the members of the Order namely Tonks were not given that much importance. On the other hand, most performances were good for instance those by Radcliffe and Oldman's. Effects, background music and so on were cool. However, I didn't like Emma Watson's performance. In the first two films we could see a Hermione identical to that of the books but now, I felt like the essence, the integral part of what is Hermione wasn't shown. It's maybe because she didn't have much to do in this movie. What do you think ? | |

| i agree with you, Jed...indeed, the character of Hermione (not one that i particularly like anyway, but still an interesting one) was not well represented. to start with, her physical appearance did not match that of the book....look at her HAIR!!!!! i was as impressed as anyone about the fighting scenes...though...since when can wizards transform into whispy beings like that?..eh?!! but still, i was pretty much impressed at how Daniel Radcliffe's talent has evolved from the first movies...i mean...he did that crying sooo well!! (you know, the bit where Sirius Black dies?)... on the whole, one has to admit the film was a much better adaptation than the previous movies were....still, there are lots of VERY important elements that have been neglected (!!!!!! QUIDDITCH!!!!!!!! I WANTED TO SEE THE QUIDDITCH!!!!!!!! ) but really, you cannot put all of it in a mere adaptation...we would still be at the cinema otherwise~~ | |

| Hey thanks for the outing....
The film was "not tasty"... Although i did not read the book, i sensed(after watching the film) that there is some things lacking... Some scene should have been exended and things explained more thoroughly... I know that the book is more interesting and original than the film and i accept my fault of not reading it but where is the adaptation of the book in the film if the book is not explained well...

| One good point for this movie : the battle scenes were nice. Second point : Great visual effects. Third point : Oldman and Bonham Carter!!! Negative points: The unscrupulous supprimation of lots of scenes. Les imbeciles... And like Shiz and Jedi girl said, What the hell did they do to Hermione??! | |
