The rugby guys have to be strong in order to puch their adversary...

And for the topic... there is nothing left to say!

why is it that rugbymen have to be soo beastly?
I'll make you watch an american football match, then you'll tell me whether you still find rugbymen beastly. Smile

There's nothing wrong with hugging other players, it's very normal... When you do a teamwork with some friends and that your team wins, wouldn't you feel in the mood to hug them?... Nope?.... Neutral
People don't say anything when women hug each other, so why are you so mean when men show traits no longer considered as "unmanly"? Shocked

aaah!!! finally somebody contradicts~~hail thee Ealga-san!!!!! well...i think it all goes down to the gender roles that we consider to be normal according to the norms and values of our dear society...in fact, males are attributed the instrumental role, that is in simple terms, the hunter role...that means they have to be 'Males' Ó la Tarzan which means, virile, deprived of feelings and therefore not showing them...women, on the other hand are given the expressive role...which means that they are sensitive...again goes back to the gatherer role....so, women hugging is normal and men hugging seems gay...
as for the teamwork...erm...i'll find something someday..................definitely~~haha

Yes, except that now the norms are slowly but surely changing (maybe not in Mauritius, but in developed places anyway).

Now some men want to show that they have emotions too, (No, not only the gay ones!) since women are starting to assume "hunter" roles. -_-"
So let us just say that football is a form of... teamspirit...? oO"
