Watched the film, like Momoko said, don't like it very much...

1. The graphics are not attractive
2. The characters are too, I don't know...submissive..
3. The fantasy becomes assasinating.
4. The ending makes us want to break the television.

ah....too bad! like i didn't like 'Silent Hill' very much, you guys don't like 'Pan's Labyrinth'! won't blame you....but i did think the 3D was a success...
for the labyrinth, i don't know, i don't think the title fits all that much....but otherwise the film is fine (depending on your taste!!)

It's fine due to its less gore compared to Silent Hill, heard from Milane that there is human torture, apart from the first part, you know which scene I'm talking about, spoiler free for those not yet watch, there's practically nothing...

*feel like i'm gonna puke* i get this feeling everytime i see this scene in my mind....for some reason, i can't bear to see such crude sadism...that's why i was so satisfied when the rebels shot him dead in the end. i thought 'neat job, guys!! lucky this bastard's dead!!' for all the wrong he's done, he deserved worse than that!!

Well, from what I know of Diddles and her sis, they don't like abstract movies (but they're crazy over horror ones and cute animes) and I have the feeling that Pan falls in this category.
Well, I'll comment more once I have watched it...

Finally watched the movie. It's one of the best I've seen this year. If had to choose between Hellboy (another Del Toro movie) and Pan's Labyrinth, I'll choose the latter. The story sound like a common fairy fairytale during the first scenes, but then it gets darker and deeper, with a tense atmosphere. Frankly, I despised that supposed father! Pffft...Arrogant et macho en plus... Yuk!

I really liked the movie. I found it great, really touching. It makes you realise how weak human beings really are, and how light and darkness can both exist in our hearts.
