| Star Wars, or George Lucas' masterpiece. Star Wars is a space opera/heroic-fantasy epic, relating intergalactic wars, politics, and the order of Jedis. The first opus fascinated our parents with it's innovative and futuristic visual effects (à l'époque... ) and the last 3 sequels added more fans from our generation. The Star Wars saga is so popular that some people (in the USA and England) want the Order of Jedi (yes, such a thing exists. Jedi fans created an order.) to be recognised as a religion.

| Nice summary of all the 6 movies! Infact, it's more the story of a father and a son. The story of the son is told in the 4,5,6 trilogy as the one who brought peace to the Galaxy... The father's story is more the story of how, the best jedi ever, turned to the dark side... I believe the story follows a "destiny" system... Where everything is planned in advance and you can't change it! Des Fatalistes!!! A mort! | |

| LOL Thanks. You're not wrong when you talk of the father-son and destiny factor. The story really follows the Skywalker family. Anakin Skywalker, the "Chosen one" turns to the Dark Side of The Force, and it's up to sonny Luke to repair the damage and bring peace. The presence of Hans Solo, however leaves me grounded. What's that western macho doing in a space opera? Who, in your opinion, is the most emblematic character of Star Wars? | |

| Indeed, cute, and annoying sometimes, is the way old Yoda speaks. Like Ealga, I personnally believe that Darth Vador and Yoda have had the most impact on spectators. Ahhh....In those times, movie makers knew how to create strong stuff....and legendary heroes! son étouffé: *kkkhhhh...kkkhhhhh* *Non Luke, c'est moi, ton père.* *kkhhhh* I think there's also Obi-Wan Kenobi... | |

| Well, the english version is better, i think: -"I am your father!*Breathe*" -"No!" And yes Darth Vador is the most emblematic character as he is the first personnage in the history of movies to be completely described as evil but in the end becomes good... Well, Hans Solo was the kind of actors needed in the movie... At that time, it must really have been such a thing to see | |

| yeah, even my mum told me...At that time (loooong ago, in the cretacean period), Harrison Ford/Hans Solo was the ultimate fantasy of la gente feminine. and all boys wanted to be like him (they found the savage, cowboy-type very sexy and virile ) Bien entendu, de telles pensées, sordides assurement, ont quasiment disparu de nos jours. *ouf* | |

*machiavellic laugh* | |

| Hey everyone! Have you heard of fan-films? They are usually short movies (10 minutes) made by amateurs and fans of Star Wars. However, there's a bunch of French guys who have taken it to a higher level! A full 75-minutes fan-film produced by a small team with loads of volunteers. I think the film is called "L'ordre Sith" and will be released in 2007! Anyone heard of it? | |

| Nope, but I saw the 'making of'. It was quite impressing, considering that it was made by amateurs throughout the world, and without the million dollars budget required by Hollywood producers! | |

| Actually, there's everything from the dark capes to the intergalactic battleships! They did all this by themselves! That's why I believe its worth watching. | |

| I have seen all the six films, though not chronologically. Star Wars remains the greatest saga that i have ever seen.
I appreciated most the battles, conspiracies,.... related to war.

| Hmmm...Blazer (and everyone else), if you like intergalactic wars and plots/conspiracies/politics, I strongly recommend you watch "Dune". Its another long saga, with many movies and even a serie if my memory's good. Its a very old one and is based on a book. I'm not sure if 1.StarWars followed Dune's plot or if 2.Dune was based on Starwars... will check that. But I believe it was 1. Anyway, if you have the opportunity to watch it, then do so!!! You won't regret! | |

| I have seen it! I liked the character of the woman with blue eyes, she showed the strength that any woman should have!! Yes the Harkonnen, Atreides,.... It was great, I loved it. I also played the game "Dune 2000", i think, in there there were the Ordos House that never appeared in any of the novels!! | |

| Who do you think is the best Jedi in the Star Wars Saga? On what side of the force do you think you are?
If you have the chance to ride one of the "vehicle" from the saga, what will it be?
And what about constructing one of them?
