| So, the movie that is having a lot of success in the USA is called ' Transformers'. It's about robots capable of changing their parts to become something totally different. Has anybody heard of the movie? | |

| You bet! I even watched the anime when I was a kid! And having watched it, I can say the movie lives up to expectations. In fact, it's even better than what I expected! Before I saw the trailer I was like "How the h*ll does that guy believe he can make a good adapt of Transformers for TV?" Well, I've been nicely surprised at the cinema and strongly recommend the movie. OK ok, I know many people think mecha-type movies aren't for girls (and some girls do nothing to change this prejudice!!! ), but even if you fall in this category of " i'm not interested in robots and/or guys' stuff ", i suggest you view the movie, at least for the sake of its breath-taking visuals! | |

| Me me me, you're talking about me! I seldom like those mecha and robot types, but Transformers was ok. The robots were well done. And I wonder why the human, specially the main character is baka... | |

| Hahah I wasn't thinking of you when I wrote that, but it's true you fall in this category There's a high probability that in future movies, all the main characters, especially if they are male teens, will be of the baka sapiens type I noticed that it's becoming a trend. Young actors with more female traits and a simple (and sometimes, if not often, weak) personality are supposedly more appealing. Man, they might as well have girls play male parts soon. | |

| Haha! Nataku you're so right about that part with young male actors! And then, it would be VERY ironic to have girls play male parts given that in the Elizabethan times all girl parts were played by guys! | |

| Yeah, although I find it hard to imagine a man playing standing on a balcony and going "Romeo, oh Romeo" *sickening* There were also female travestite actors, especially in old British movies. However the best performance is by Tilda Swinton in "Orlando" (a movie you'd have to watch thrice before understanding anything...and yet again there might not be anything to understand... ), I really believed she was a man then! ok back to Transformers. You watched it yet? I know it's the 3rd term (la derniere ligne droite, comme on dit), but if you plan to watch the movie, better it be in the cine - the robots' transformation and battle scenes aren't that beautiful on a small screen... | |

| I haven't seen the movie yet. I'm not so keen about action movies but then I'm getting quite positive reviews about it so I might watch it soon. Nataku, since you mentionned the movie Orlando, there's a film called 'Stage Beauty'. The story is about the best actor who played girl parts. It's quite nice although a bit heavy. Oh and yes I ran through the Transformers' trailer and I was wondering about the lead actor; is it the actor from 'La guerre des Stevens'? | |

| Transformers... Great film with special effect... and showing greatly the US weaponry...xD What was weird was the spy drone's V-tail, it was supposed to be inverted like nowadays RQ-1 Predator UAV... - Spoiler:
Also the plan of combatting the decepticons in a city is adapted to the situation because nowadays Urban warfare is really really difficult to execute...
For 144mins the film shows what is needed but to my point of view it is short... I wanted to see the mechanical "operation" when a transformer changes itself... I know it would have been costly.... - Spoiler:
Bumblebee is a good bodyguard Optimus Prime is a great commander, should leaders of this world have him as example Ironhide is great with his weapon systems but... participated little in the battles Jazz.... Eddy in Tekken... Megatron...mega vilain Barricade...like the car and want one like that Blackout... arrg, he "sneak" in and destroy... Starscream the F-22 decepticon... Really amazing.... Scorponok... tough one, Uranium depleted shells from A-10 and 105mm from AC-130 only cut it's tail
The "romance" in the film is really weird and i agree with the critics from male gender that - Spoiler:
the guy should not have kissed the girl at the end...
The film would have been better without it, or if you really wanted it,please change the actor.... The comedy was enough... some scene was good...Even the robots make jokes, haha. Frenzy, the small decepticon was really cute but destructive, hehe, want a controllable one... Who liked the telephone operator and also the "Sector 7" guy...hihi Also there are many trademarks used in the film... Nokia a japanese trademark , that is really baka... Sorry for the spoilers.... | |

| I really liked the scene where they changed the Nokia into a mini machine of destruction. J'en veux un comme ça, que j'puisse controller bien sure... Imagine what you could do with that little pearl... - Spoiler:
why did Jazz 'die' ???
